For the last years, Video Poker has gained popularity as the most favorite gambling game over the years. Video Poker combines the essentials of slot machines and poker. In the casino, Video Poker has the bigger possibilities of winning compared to other gambling games since it combines luck and strategy all in one game. Video Poker is simple and easy to play. With just a few practice, one can play Video Poker like a pro.

The main goal to win in Video Poker is to get the highest value out of five cards.

Starting games in Video Poker requires the player to choose on the amount to bet. Once done, five cards will be dealt by the machine. The player may draw cards along the game to improve the value of the cards. Clicking the "hold" button in Video Poker is necessary if the player wishes to keep his cards. Clicking on the "deal" button will give the player new cards to the cards that were not held.

Video Pokers are more attractive than other card games since the player is playing against the cards of the machine. There are no external pressures in Video Poker, no noisy watchers, no ill-tempered dealers and other things typical of a casino betting table. Video Poker is fast and easy with higher chances at the jackpot.

There is a coin slot for the player's bets and a coin hopper for the winnings' exit. The rules of winning though vary. In Slot machines, three same characters is needed to win. In Video Poker, the last five cards must resemble a poker combination like a straight before one can win.

Unlike Slot machines which are purely a game of luck, Video Poker requires some degree of skill since selecting the cards to hold or draw is not based on luck, rather, to logical assumptions that will eventually achieve a winning combination. Thus, before playing Video Poker, a ready knowledge on the rules of poker is expected.
